Inspect Your Shipments!
If your order comes to you by truck you have to open and inspect your order regardless of what the outside of the carton may look like. Large objects like these can be damaged during transit and it is your responsibility to inspect your shipment on arrival. We will replace any damaged product free of charge if it is signed for as damaged upon arrival.
If you have damages and you have signed the bill of lading as such then please call our office toll free at 866-366-1500 or fax us a copy of the packing slip to 508-393-6688 showing us what was damaged so that we can get a replacement order in the works for you. Orders delivered by FedEx ground do not require you to sign for the boards as damaged since FedEx will often times leave an order without any signature. In this case simply call us and notify us of the damages and that it was a FedEx ground shipment and we will take care of it for you. Please have your order number available when calling.
If there is obvious damage to your order when FedEx or UPS arrives with your package please refuse it and call us so that we can get your replacement order in the works.
When it comes to truck shipments you must make note of damages at the time of delivery. If you do not make note of the damages on your bill of lading while the truck driver is there (this does not apply to FedEx ground or UPS shipments) you will be responsible for filing the damage claim with the delivering carrier. There will be no exceptions. We will work with you on the cost of a replacement order if this happens but there will be a charge for another order to be sent out.
Did you know? The trucking company is only responsible for taking the freight to the back of their truck. It is your responsibility to take the freight into the building. Your freight charges billed through the OptiMA Companies only cover you to this point.
Custom Orders are Not returnable! If you have any questions about an item or if it could be returned please contact customer service for assistance prior to placing an order. We offer a lot of products on our site that are considered to be custom due to fabric colors, construction features or other variables...it is part of what makes us different.
*Cost of Shipping: If your order must ship by truck we have a shipping fee of $100.00 across the country to your loading docks or curb side. Board orders over $850 net are charged a flat fee of $45.00.
