• Which backing should I select? We recommend that you select cleated for normal placements on hard surfaces and on most commercial carpets, especially ones with 100% loop or cut pile construction. Use the smooth backing when you have heavy pedestrian traffic or continuous cart and buggy traffic on hard surfaces.
